Walmart InHome is a magical suite of services and products that helps busy families save time. Trained associates put groceries into your fridge, place Rx in your home and pick up your returns... while you are out; while innovative products were built to further elevate that seamless experience.
Amazon was making strides in fast delivery and smart home technology. But they didn't solve 2 big problems:
(1) Forget the groceries — how to deliever groceries when customers are at work
(2) how to create smart devices that let them know when their items on running low and automatically reorder them — that is more valuable than merely entertainment products.

Current Walmart InHome customers want a service that makes routine shopping simpler and many of them would benefit from a service that already knows what they need. How do we do this?
1. Fridge camera: The camera can capture more of the fridge based on fridge type and camera placement. Vision can also identify different variants of an item. However, based on our research and customer feedback, majority of customers feel concerned about their privacy when it comes to using camera.
2. Smart pressure mat: Having a smart pressure mat will allow customers to have a more curated online groceries shopping experience. Combined with InHome delivery service and Smart Reorder algorithm and learning experience, customers can enjoy a no touch solution for their entire grocery shopping experience.

Order history includes current order that is either pending, in-progress, or shipped status and previous orders. The details of each order is linked out to Smart Reorder Walmart order history page.
A landing page also created for marketing purpose.

Many Walmart customers have chronic conditions that require them to monitor certain vitals daily. By using Walmart-provided hardware and software, they can check and sync their vitals daily in order for us to help them get healthier. But how do we motivate them to use the app every day?
1. Rewards: We learned that people feel excited when working towards a reward (even more than actually getting the reward) . Among a few reward options we explored, badges, streaks and level completion are more fun when larger goals are broken down into mini achievable ones, which makes customers feels like they're making progress
2. Daily coach: Hand hold users through easy to understand snapshots of their health. Content updates daily with new tips, articles, and personalized insights wrapped up into engaging flashcard or story formats. It is flexible and can include many features, including grocery recommendations.
We have to keep in mind that throughout the app exeperience, we want our customers to feel that this is a journey we are taking together. Weight loss is hard, other solutions are cookie cutter and try to put them in to a box, we are above that but that takes trial and error to make it perfectly suited for them. We are here for them. We aim to achieve this through both copy, visuals, and thoughtful content.

The solution for determining Homebase eligibility is not scalable. Many new partnerships and devices or varying type will be coming into the InHome ecosystem, and we need to better handle comms, compatibility, and device linking on website and app.
Adjust the flow/experience so customers select devices up front, or are made aware of options and next steps via:
1. Website: Access page (How it Works)
2. Website post-registration: Order success/account page
We want to increase the number of InHome Active Customers by offering Grocery Box as a new device option. Our pilot results demonstrated that Grocery Box is likely to increase InHome's total addressable market. However, currently, we don't offer Grocery Box as a device option to customers.
We need to add new screens/features to the Customer App to do the following:
Select Grocery Box during device selection
Setup/provision Grocery Box (customer self-install)
Control Grocery Box to retrieve deliveries
